I've never been an active campaigner for animal rights. I mean I'm always
very sensitive to pets but

mind alone. Of course I'm not a professional and maybe I caught on some kind of trick, honestly I want to! Because all what I saw made me very-very sad. I know everyone earn
money as they can but ...

This is Russian video but originally was made in US I guess and may be most of U already saw it but I want to share this anyways!

When I was young I had a dog, his name was King. He was very big pedigreed dog and my best friend. And like all of pet owners I was
coming to the moment of
parting. King was completely
healthy and it was a strange
parting. He was just
stolen from me, and accordingly all knew for what purpose. Since then I've never had
a pet I'm just too afraid to relive something that has experienced that time! How can
these pathetic people can do such terrible things?

My today's manicure theme is completely devoted to interests of the animals. I wish all the animals in the world have had 9 (in my country it says 7) lives like cats, for sure for real!!!

Anastacia's experience: This kit includes 3 different magnets and special holder for one finger. But I personally don't like it because the main "foundation" is unstable and falls every time. On
each of the magnets has
a personal picture of the magnetic image. My favourite pattern is diagonal lines because I have noticed it gives more noticeable result. Also I'm not sure if this magnet kit will be work for other magnetic nail polish brands because I have only OUQIAN.

The experiment with turning the
magnet in the
opposite direction turned out unsuccessful. And it's clearly
seen on my middle finger. I tried to turn the magnet with a horizontal line at 90 degrees and achieve vertical lines pattern but the
desired result wasn't achieved.

I'm so sooo exciting about new trend (oh, at least new for me) of magnetic nail polishes. It always looked 3D and unique to me so finally I had a chance to try out some on myself :)

This nail polish has a little bit of shimmer to it and wearable just by itself without any magnetic effects. Not very black shade tho, it looks more dark grey metallic color. It has regular nail polish brush and quite dense texture. One coat of nail polish looks opaque enough.

It's pretty easy to use: apply one coat of the nail polish wait untill it completely dry. Apply second coat and put the nails under magnet for about 5-15 seconds depending on how dramatic the result desired. For example: my index finger I kept under magnet for about 15 secs and the middle finger something about 5 secs. The
longer time under magnets, the more dramatic result will be
achieved. The only thing that magnets doesn't included to this nail polishes, it sold separately! I will be doing a review for them too.

To remove them I used just my regular nail polish remover.

TIP: shake before use very-very well because all the metallic pieces settle on
the bottom of the nail polish.

This is just a quick update for my new stuff I bought recently :) I ordered some nail foils from Dollar Nail Art store and I like everything I got. All those foils are sooo beautiful! I accidentally bought 2 of Peacock Dazzle but I think it's ok cause I played with it today and it looked sooo pretty and glossy. Each item costs $1, how cool huh? But
the minimum
order is $25 + shipping fee. I also really like the servise and it's very serious web-site.

I also bought some round and square studs each $1 as well.

Thats it for my haul. I'm still doing 10 hit pan project so I try do not buy much stuff...

I remember only last year they looked awful because I had "grow-in" nail edges since school time, and I made them grow right! It was hard and very painfully but I think now my toes deserve a beautiful pedicure too :)

I have tried quite a lot of different nail patches and non of them looked useful for me untill I tried this N.Nail patches. The main factor that contributed to such excellent application is this patches are very thin! When I opened them at first I thought that was water decals, that's how thin they are! Also the glue side is very sticky as well and filing off the excess patch was like nothing. Very easy to use and I wish I could try this N.Nail patches for my finger nails too >_<

I want to start this post with thanking Mini for the Cute Blog Award. I already have did this tag before [HERE] and I'm so happy to get it from such talented nail art guru like her. Mini's nail designs are in Japanese nail art magazines and absolutely all of them are amazing! So unique and creative! >_<

Talking about lovely girls I want to mention Angeline's nail polish blog. She recently started new blog and there is a nail polish paradise. So many different brands and colors, a lot of interesting nail art things! And Angie just such sweet and friendly person :)

I'm so happy to have friends like U girls! It's so amazing to share our common interests with each other!

I've changed my manicure today for this neon colors :) I did pretty the same design for the 31 days nail challenge and it was inspired by the Artwork look [HERE] and today I wanted to play with more bright colors. Using the same sponging method. I applied neon yellow, pink, green and a little bit of royal blue on the sponge and made my general background rainbow pattern. And with detail nail art brush and black acrylic paint I drawn sort of holes. Sealed everything with a clear top coat and done.

A few days ago I bought another PERIPERA nail polish in "PEARL WHITE" from their scented collection. I applied 2 layers without top coat. This polish was the main base color for my today's mani. Very nice smell and amazing wide brush. The texture is a bit runny for this particular polish but 2 coats quite enough for opaque application. This is not basic pearl white, to me it looks more like ivory color IRL. It doesn't make my skin tone darker at all, love this new baby >_<

My Big Heum (my eldest son) got chickenpox right on the Lunar New Year and it's really not fun :( He has strong fever sometimes and it's itching everywhere :( But the good side is to go through this now because children carry the

Nail Polishing Mania

Happy Lunar New Year :) It was difficult few days for me to prepare for the New Year tableful but I think we made it :) Also I made my nail design for this holidays but I didn't wanted go crazy and crafty because of all the homework. So I polished my nails simple and I got a ton of compliments for this design :)

"CLASSIC CAFE" Aritaum nail polish. Brown shade with bronzy shimmer to it. Nice and opaque color. 2 layers on with abstract stickers and silver hexagones. And 2 layers of clear top coat.

"RASPBERRY TEA" another Aritaum nail polish from their new Cafe collection. It smells very sweet and it only 1 layer without top coat. It's very opaque creme nail polish with great texture. I love Aritaum polishes and got a lot of questions about this brand here and there especially on my Flickr page. Aritaum is Korean brand nail polish and personally I buy them from my local beauty store and I really don't know where it sales internationally. May be U should check out Ebay...

I'm into pink recently and I buy a lot of different pink nail polishes. And one of them is The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex BASE COAT. I thought it's sort of sheer pink for french mani but when I got home and read the lable it was basic base coat. But thats ok, cause I use such necessary products constantly. Even if it's pink shade it looks clear on the nails.

BK Cracking nail polish #8. It was requested on my Facebook page. For the main background color I used yellow creme polish in YL702 from TFS.

So into pink nail polishes right now LOL~ Recently I bought a ton of different pink nail polishes and one of them I used for today's mani. It's from The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex collection in PK105. Which is creme pink color, very nice and opaque nail polish. I'm wearing only one coat of this for my french tips and it's absolutely enough for amazing yet even application.

But right now I want to share not my new nail polish baby but the craft nail decoration set I've got from Born Pretty store the other day :)

It's 12 different nail decorations with this see through plastic box. It sounds a bit expensive for just the decorations but in my opinion it's totally worth it. Because if U apply and remove them carefully it may be used again and again! To stick on these decorations I like to use thick/old clear nail polish and seal it with 2 layers of top coat. So it stays nice and well.

Here I took picture of my favourite pieces :) But I think each of them has an individual twist!

For this manicure I did pink french tips by using french tip guide stickers. Contour the smile line with silver art pen nail polish, added pink rhinestones and the rose on accent nail. Done!

Elegant White Lace Style Sticker

One sheet of 3 different laces. The size is 1.5cm x 15cm.

It's really great product for the price. But I have to say that I spent a lot of time just to stick the stickers on my nails. The edges of the lace always come
unstuck and I honestly recommend using a nail glue or tacky/old clear polish to stick them. Because the lace is kinda thick sticker by itself and can't stay put on with a usual top coat. Also for my design one lace stripe was enough for only one hand. It's bothered me to have different pattern on my other hand and I removed this design :(

For this mani I applied 2 coats of pearl white nail polish and sponged creme white on top. With small detail brush and black acrylic paint I drawn 2 thick lines perpendicular to each other. Stick lace stickers and added black rhinestones. Sealed everything with clear top coat and done :)

Becasue when I had short nails it always was a problem to me how should I polish my nails. Not all the designs looks cute on short nails as it looks on more longer nails. size by yourself. Also I'm a bit disappointed by the quality of this decals. They are very-very thin and after 3 sec in the water images immediately slides off from the base white paper. And it need to stick to the nail a little bit faster than fast because this decals start curling and it almost
impossible to
use. But other than that I really do like these flowers and they looks just pretty!

Sorry for the dry cuticles area. Elena has over dry hands because of her work and it seems like hand masks not helping a lot. We are working on it tho :)

Very soon it's gonna be a Lunar New Year also known as Chinese New Year. And this date is a huge holiday here in Korea too. So from 22 to 23 January we're gonna greet the year of Dragon. And for this special occasion I made Asian inspired nail design. It's not only inspired by Lunar New Year but also by spring time as well. Because after Lunar New Year the weather always getting warmer
and it means that spring is coming.

15 images water decals sheet. Individual image for each nail. These are kinda big size water decal images. My nails are not very short right now and nevertheless, I covered most
of the nail plate.

For this mani I used pastel tone nail polishes in light pink, orange, yellow and green. I applied all of them on a piece of sponge and used it at one time. Before this step I applied one coat of creme white nail polish so my pastel colors would looks a bit brighter. Stick water decals and sealed everything with a clear top coat. Done :)

TIP: When U apply top coat make sure there is no residual water at all otherwise U will get smeared image! To remove excess water from nail plate use a tissue!

I loooveeee water decals so much! It don't take a lot of time to change ur manicure and it always perefct designs. But the bad side is that using water decals make U lazy to do more detailed, free-hand designs LOL~

DIOR logo toes design + Cute Blog Award

Today I changed my pedicure and did this Dior logo design. But I
want to make the
main accent not
on the Dior water decals but on the big rhinestones. Despite the fact that I can't use the rhinestones on my fingers I'm really happy to stick them on my toes. Because I enjoy doing my toe designs as much as I like doing it for my fingers.

Anastacia's experience: I was sent this product some time ago and since then I always thought on how should I use them because the size of the rhinestones are really big. Even 6.5mm the smallest in the wheel still huge for my finger nails. And finally today I came up with this pedicure design. And actually 7.5mm rhinestones suites so well for my big toes. Each rhinestone is very light weight and it has silver colored flat back. I applied 2 layers of my top coat and it feels nice and smooth on the touch but look 3D.

I used The Face Shop Face & it in GR506 which is dark green creme finish nail polish. Stick Dior logo water decals on my small toes and for the big nail I applied dark gold rhinestone and added small bullions around it. Sealed everything with 2 layers of top coat and done :)

I often get question here and there about how often I change my pedicure. So my answer is once a week. I have time for it and I like fresh polished toes!

I do like Smurfs and I really wanted to get them for the nail design but I'm completely suck at free-handing. So the best way to kill two
birds with one
stone is water decals :) I love water decals and I can't stress enough how great they are! So many different images and shapes.

For this SMURFS design I just sponged creme white nail polish, added a little bit of creme green on the nail tips. And with green and yellow acrylic paint drawn a few stripes for the grass. Stick water decals and done! Super easy and very cute, huh?

OUMAXI Acrylic Paints

I have a lot of different acrylic paints which I use for my nail art and tried all those different textures like oil based paints, water based and clay based. And most of all I wanted to try out OUMAXI set. Because it became very popular and a lot of people like it. So I took a quick look at the kkcenterhk web-site and was completely interested in metallic gold and silver paints. The swatches was really nice and pigmented. But when I got my set there wasn't any gold or silver colors at all. Seriously don't know why, but on the web-site there is completely random paints swatched, at least I think so. Also I didn't got a yellow color tho... Anyways, meet my new acrylic paints ->

OUMAXI 12 Colors Acrylic Paint

12 colors acrylic gel.

Without any YELLOW paint.

A bit closer to the acrylic set. All of them are basic creme colors. Very nice and bright paints.

"Cool" side of the set. I like that pink. I have 3 other acrylic sets and non of them has a pink shade. So now I have my own Barbie-ish color :)

I played with some of OUMAXI colors and found that not all of them evenly pigmented. I mean light blue, black and white paints are really nice and opaque and royal blue and pink paints are more sheer and it need 2 coats for smooth application.

I also have tried them for one-stroke technique and the texture is a bit thick. So I mixed them with a little bit water and only after that I was able to use them for one-stroke.

"STAINED GLASS"

This is my current mani. I've tried to use detail brush for the acrylic paints and I like it a lot! The application goes very smooth without any bumps and it dries quite fast too.

OVERALL: I do like this acrylic paints! And I can forgive and do it without any yellow shades in the set because as I said before I have a lot of other paints already. And for those who just started doing nail art I suggest to go to ur craft store and buy more cheap acrylic paints to play with at first and then if U'd like something special for nails I do recommend OUMAXI.

Perhaps this is because caring for these ‘extremities’ requires an attention to detail that is becoming uncommon as our lives get busier. No matter what the explanation for our fascination is, do yourself a favor – buy some new shoes and learn to give yourself a quality manicure at home.

Your at-home method for salon perfect nails

LA manicurist to the stars, Lisa Jachno, recommends at least thirty uninterrupted minutes per treatment. Lock your doors, turn off the phone and collect everything you need so you won’t have to use your hands for the next half an hour.

Step One: Remove old polish from your nails using either a cloth or cotton pad.

Cotton balls have a tendency to shred easily and absorb far too much lacquer remover. Speaking of which, there are plenty of things you can save money on when maintaining your nails at home but polish remover shouldn’t be one of them. Although drug store brands are acceptable, they generally smell awful and will dry out your skin and nails. Professional manicure companies such as Essie and OPI offer polish removers that not only smell lovely but are seriously effective. You may pay a bit more for the product, but in the end it is more economical than a dollar- store remover that takes half a bottle to get the job done.

Step Two: File your nails while they are dry to prevent peeling.

Don’t waste your money on expensive, gimmicky equipment. A good file shouldn’t cost you more than a few dollars. The key to a beautiful manicure lies in your techniques, not the amount you spend. Carla Kay, a west Hollywood manicurist, cautions that “sawing back and forth can break the nail” and suggests using smooth strokes in one direction only.

Step Three: Incorporate olive oil, hand lotion or cuticle oil into a bowl of warm water and soak your hands for a minimum of ten minutes.

After, dry thoroughly and apply a cuticle cream or hand lotion. Using an ‘orange stick’ wrapped in a bit of cotton, push your cuticles back gently. Once accomplished, take a moist washcloth and rub the pushed cuticles in a circular motion. Avoid using any blades or scissors to trim them as cutting your cuticles can make you more vulnerable
to infection and retard the nail’s growth.

Step Four: After washing and drying, apply your base coat and allow it to dry thoroughly.

This step ensures that the polish adheres properly while protecting your nails from becoming stained by the pigments in your chosen polish. Take a deep breath – it’s time to begin polishing your perfectly shaped nails. Because you’ve saved so much money on unnecessary tools and equipment, you can afford to invest in good polish. Although quality tends to shift from brand to brand, in general the more pricy polishes are not only better for your nails but have greater tenacity than those you might purchase from a discount store.

Step Five: After choosing your color; be sure that you wipe your brush on the bottle’s lip to prevent any extra polish from accumulating.

Use a three-stroke technique, beginning in the middle of your nail with two strokes on the side. Allow to dry completely between coats. Rushing at this point will cause clumps and streaks that you’ll have to fix after the entire nail dries, resulting in a manicure that takes an hour as opposed to the half you had intended. If you’re the impatient type, set an egg timer for two minutes to stop yourself from becoming tempted to reapply too soon.

Step Six: When you are certain your polish is completely dry, apply a topcoat to seal the color and impart shine.

Try to avoid the ‘quick dry’ topcoats, as they are less formidable than the old-fashioned variety. Don’t be tempted to skip this step - Not only does topcoat help your manicure last longer than a day or two, it actually helps to prevent water loss resulting in longer, stronger nails.

With the current economy in a state of disarray and the rising popularity of frugality, most women and men have abandoned their weekly manicures. There’s no question that paying someone to groom your hands is a bit of a luxury, but there is absolutely no reason you can’t maintain your gorgeous digits at home. After all, it’s one thing to be financially strapped, it’s another thing entirely to look that way. Take thirty minutes to give yourself a quality manicure – when your nails catch the light throughout the day like radiant little jewels, you’ll be glad you did.

For the Day 29 of nail challenge (LOL~ yes, I'm still doing this) and Inspired by THE SUPERNATURAL theme I decided to do something different from what I usually do. It's scary skull decals. I love water decals! All designs are absolutely perfect, it easy to use and don't take much time to create manicure!

To make this nails I applied Etude House WH708 "Creamy Grey" nail polish as a main background color. Made thin lines with The Face Shop "BK902" grey cracking nail polish and sponged China Glaze "Cherry Pie" on top of everything. Stick the decals and finished with clear top coat.

Anastacia's experience: I'm using this cuticle oil every other day. It has a soft white bristles brush and twisting "thing" to get the product out. It smells like a regular body oil to me, not to strong tho. Nothing about orange scent at all. Absorbing quickly, not greasy, obviously very nice moisturizing. Because of the brush it's very easy to use on the cuticles, sides of nails and also under nails too. And I wish there is more product in the tube, it's kindda small amount of product. But I can see how happy my cuticles are now especially at winter time when skin gets over dry and need some extra moisturizing.

My NOTD: Catherine Arley Hologram nail polish. Don't have any number or name :( 2 layers with a holo Aritaum top coat on. Sometimes I just like wearing flat one color manicure :)

New Years Snowflake Nails

Here is a little bit closer to the design. It's a sheet of 15 french tip water decals. Just a basic black color with white snowflakes.

I always thought that my nails are not very large but this decals are too small for my nail plate. What I did I just placed them in the center of my nail tips and with black acrylic paint (any black nail polish will do) and small detail brush filled in nail sides and free edges.

Freehand Pikachu and Christmas gift to myself

Ok, LOL~ I'm agree with all of U that it's kindda creepy and weird to see this hand, just hand by itself hahaha but I found it soooo useful for freehanding and next time I'm gonna try 3D acrylic designing :) At first it was too weird for me to look at this tool as well and honestly I didn't want
my kids to see it just to avoid any psychological
effects. But accidentally my lil' boy took it out from my stash and he was laughing and run to my big Heum and OMG! they both was so exciting to play with it and trying to scary their daddy etc. And now this hand proudly shows off on
my desk and I can use it whenever I want :) I just explained that this isn't a real hand but dummy :)

And I already have tried free-handing on that hand and it was very comfy to do a manicure. I rotated it in different directions and angles and just really enjoyed use this tool! Only I wish I could draw something really pretty LOL~

I'm still doing project 10 pan because I have to use all those beauty products I have otherwise it simply will
need to throw away. But I decided to make a Christmas gift to myself and bought this nail art pen set from Born Pretty store. It's 24 different colors. The actual nail polish bottle comes in brush and pen shape which is the only reason I bought them :) Also the nail art brush is not too long and I find it more useful. On the bottom of each bottle there is stuck tiny needle just in case if hole in pen will be clogged.

There is 8 basic colors. Quite enough of orange shades LOL~

Here is more frosty/shimmery finish nail polishes. 7 different, ok almost different colors.

And finally my favourites. 9 Glittery nail art polishes. It includes gold and silver holo art pens.

From this set I tried just basic yellow color and it seems to me quite pigmented but thick consistence.

Anyways I'm happy with this gift to myself LOL~

REVIEW: Practicing Hand

I'm so suck at free-handing designs and I really want to practice them more but I can't do that on my real nails because simply I don't have a lot of time for playing with failure drawing and such. And I found the best way to
improve skills is something else for example nail art training display Practicing Hand from Born Pretty store.

It looks very close to the real hand, the color of rubber and the actual shape. Only it's a smal version of "human" left hand. All fingers are movable and can be bent not to easy but still I can bend them.

This hand has holes for insertion of fake nails. The actual holes holding fake nails very well without glue and it's completely easy to use. Pushing fake nails to the slots not difficult at all without pre-treatment and filing fake nails.

OVERALL: I'm really happy with this practicing hand. All it's need just to stock
up more of fake nails. Can't wait to share about my nail painting experience in my next post.

I ♥ Korea!

Now it's turn for Korean flag. For Day 28 and inspired by A FLAG nails obviously I was going to do Korean flag inspiration. I love Korea! BUT I'm not ready to wear flags on my nails hahahaha~ So I decided to take white, red, blue and black colors and make something wearable with those colors :)

In case if U don't know how look Korean flag I stole this picture from someone through Google search***

This is design I came up with. I did my best to get precise lines and because I'm not a printing machine it looks different on each nail... Din't took a picture for my left hand tho, I've got a big scratch on the ring finger >_<

HOW TO DO this design:

1. I applied base coat and one coat of white creme nail polish. With a sponge applied shimmer and creme white colors on top.

2. I made one-stroke blue and red nail tips by using acrylic paints. With detail brush added red shadow on blue part.

3. With small detail brush draw black smile line and added shadow on red part.

4. Stick blue, red and black rhinestones to cuticle area and sealed with clear top coat. DONE!

That's it! Thanx for looking!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

HeLLo my lovelies! Today is the night before Christmas and I'm so excited! Because this is still my the most favourite holiday since childhood! Everyone is trying to do something special for their dear ones and this makes me so happy. Because at this time people forgive all evil and think only of good! A lot of positive energy flying in the air, I almost can feel it! And I wish the whole world to be so good and happy and kind every weekday!

I spent a lot of time today with my friends. They came over to visit me because I was so upset lately, some stupid internet things to which I probably should not pay any attention at all but I'm just a human and I have feelings. So my friends brought a huge Christmas cake to me and gave me a lot of support and a ton of positive energy and I'm so thankfull for that! And tomorrow my husband is going to surprise and take us to the Christmas eve show (LOL~ Yeah, I'm already know but I'm not gonna ruin his plans) so we gonna have a lot of fun time with our family :)

And I wish to all of U be happy and virtuous! Have a great great great time with people U love! And share some positive and happyness with people who need it!

Abstract ARTWORK

HeLLo everyone! Now it's time for another nail challenge entry and for the Day 27 and Inspired by ARTWORK theme I chose really simple picture to grab the main design from cause I'm bad at free-handing and I want my right hand looks quite similar to the left. Anyways here is my nails :)

I searched for any abstract artwork and saw this picture ->

I decided to make something inspired by this artwork but didn't want completely copy it, so I changed the main colors a little bit.

HOW TO DO:

To make the colors brighter I started of with a creme White nail polish. I applied one coat of The Face Shop WH002 and on top of it I sponged Purple, Orange, Pink and Blue colors at one time. I mean I applied all those colors on a piece of sponge and placed it as one full pattern. It gives more blended effect between all those nail polishes. Sealed it with ARITAUM holo glitters top coat and then with Black acrylic paint and small detail brush I draw those "lines". Finish with a clear fast dry top coat and done!

Fresh Faces Mineral Make-Up

It always hard for me to choose the right tone of any powders and foundations. I'm between 20 and 21 (Laneige foundation or any Korean make-up brand) 20 is a bit light for me and 21 is too dark LOL~ But I can easily mix and match right color by using just a few different foundations or powders. And never turned out to pick up right shade for mineral powders/foundations. Cause usually swatches on web-sites are not corresponds to the actual/real tone and I stayed away from the shopping of mineral products. But recently Fresh Faces Minerals contacted me and asked if I would like to try out some products from the web-site and I said YES cause there is a lot of mineral eye shadows available and I was really exciting to use some. And surprisingly I was sent some face powders as well which I'm excited about :)

Sheer Warm Light Foundation

Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Zinc Oxide, Iron Oxides. May contain: ultramarines, chromium oxide green

Sample size: Net wt. 9g

Anastacia's experience: It's matching my skin color quite good and seems like I can wear just this shade! I like to apply some concealer before using Fresh Faces Mineral Foundation. I use foundation brush for the mineral powder because I like to pack on the product, it's a bit sheer for me and I prefer more nice opaque (but not heavy) coverage. Definetely buildable foundation but more U apply more it gives pink undertone to the skin. For my oil skin type it works great. My make-up stays on for 6+ hours without any touch-ups whereas before I had to use blotting tissues two times a day. There is no any specific odor and I think I like this product but I wish it has more dense cover.

Oil Control Powder

Ingredients: Kaolin clay and HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer (and) Silica

Sample size: Net wt. 5g

Anastacia's experience: I've heard some people has an allergic reaction when using silica powder and personally I don't. This powder works very nice for my oily forehead and cheek areas through out the day. It white in color and has a slightly white traces after the application but this is not so much noticeable. I like to dust it only on needed areas of the face with a big powder brush.

Mineral Eye Shadows

Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, +/- Iron Oxides, Tin Oxide

Sample size: Bliss, Flirty e/s Net 1.5g and the rest of the samples Net wt. 1.1g

Anastacia's experience: The eye shadow was swatched on un-primed skin with a flat shadow brush. Direct sun light. On the web-site all the eye shadow pictures looks much darker than it actually is. For example, Flirty eye shadow looks more like dark burgundy sorta color and I got dusty rose shade in the sample jar. But all of them looks much darker and brighter on any creamy texture eye shadow base. Each color I have has slightly shimmer to it. Bermuda Party has green micro shimmers but it's not very significantly on the eyes.

Here is all the swatches using slightly wet brush. All the colors looks much brighter and shimmery.

Sorry guys, I'm a bit lost cause my PC can't read blogspot.com anymore and I started using it through Google Chrome and here are some other functions and everything new to my eyes, so I have to stopp this review here. But I want to say that I'm really enjoy to use of these products!

Christmas Candy

Christmas Candies as nail design for the upcoming holidays! Looks very cute on the nails, feels festively and my sister having a lot of fun wearing them.

To create them I did red and green french tips and applied red glitters on creme red polish and green glitters obviously on green. With white acrylic paint and small detail brush I drawn white "candy" stripes. Put gold nail polish to the french tip line BUT I don't suggest do it cause this type of gold color make the hands looks sick in either case, it can be replaced by a thin line of gold color. And I applied Collection 2000 shimmer top coat to make it more frosty looking and added candy water decals on ring and thumb fingers. To seal the design I used just a clear top coat.

Of course U can freehand candies if don't have those decals but I wasn't sure if I draw them and it will look more or less wearable. I'm not good at all in free-handing designs and this mani should be good enough for wearing, cause I did this for my sister.

Nail Challenge: Inspired by A PATTERN

For the day 26 of the nail challenge I chose the pattern below ***took from Google search***

I "copied" black elments for my nails using black acrylic paint and small detail brush. And for the main color I decided to use turquoise nail polish just wanted something different from all those wintery manicures. And this particular shade always remind me of warmth in the tropics. To make it more interesting I added turquoise flakies nail polish and green hexagon glitters from kkcenterhk. Added a little of blue glitters to the black lines and done.

Btw, my cuticles looks greasy because I spent a lot of time outside and they looked very-very dry. It's so cold recently, in my place where we basically don't have snow and intense cold right now -8 °C. So I back home and used a loooot of hand cream and cuticle moisturizer and then took some pictures :)

I miss my long nails...

I cut my nail shorter in October and since that time I try to grow them back LOL~ I didn't had broken nail they just got very long and started curling. Curling nails and different lenght and shapes of each finger nail are not beautiful!!!

Anyways, for these 2 months I've challenged myself a lot by making nails shorter, then I made an oval nail shape and finally I stopped experimenting and started growing them back. Also I took a few pictures during this period...

ARITAUM nail hardener. Korean brand. Yellowish color consistency, very light texture. Dries completely fast and works good! I like to use it as a nail polish base.

Don't like showing real color of my bare nails cause they are kindda yellow. Not cute at all for the pictures! I've tried lemon whitening method and it don't wotks for me, also I've heard lemon juice negative impact on nails if used too often. Vitamin C dry out the nail and it may serve breakage! (I use base coat every single time I do my manicure also I wipe off nail polish without any remains and my nails still looking yellow) But I don't care LOL~ Never unpolished...

VoV nail care program. White creamy texture product. Moisturizing my nails very well, absorbs very nice too. I like to use it after wash off nail polish remover.

I have 2 last picture, actually old pictures in my nail folder. I did this mani last summer and I had that long nails :D I miss that length a loooot now!

CHANEL logo nails and requested glitter collection

Another theme for the nail challenge and now it's time for Day 25 Inspired by FASHION. I'm not a big fan of a fashion I mean I like clothes (who doesn't?) and such but I don't like follow fashion. My bum is 30 size and most of the time it doesn't suit everything fashionable and usually I wear and buy things I look pretty or comfy for my lifesyle. So, for this theme I decided to keep quite simple, I just used Chanel logo as fashion presentation.

Both of my hands. I so am in love with this green nail polish. Chanel logo is a water decals.

Nature Republic nail polish in SGR602. 2 coats on. I used this polish as my main color and I like it so so much. Deep green color with a slight shimmer to it. The texture is a bit thick but I think it's because I bought it not new. I mean I bought it in the Nature Republic store and seems like it was swatched not once. But it's totally ok, cause there is left a lot nail polish in and I like this color ;)

Also I was requested by Dana to show my glitter nail art collection. And I can say I'm a huge-huge fan of glitters! I like everything bling-bling!

This 12 jars kit is from Born Pretty store. Those hexagones kindda big but I still like them. A bit more top coat then usual works for me very well. And the Essence hexagones was sent to me from my Facebook friend.

This fine glitter nail art set I found in my local beauty store at my home-town. I found I missed a lot when took this picture and also some of them I got from the nail stuff swap.

Misc glitters I have: 2 testers from local The Face Shop store I got for free LOL~ Top 3 hexagon glitters are from kkcenterhk and Born Pretty store. Bottom 3 is from my local craft store, those are not nail art glitters but they works just as well for my nails :)

Thats it for my actual nail glitters not a big collection but it's enough for me right now. Also I like to use glitter nail polishes a lot, especialy once which has big chunky glitters. As well as beads and rhinestones those are shine very pretty too!

INNISFREE Christmas Collection | 이니스프리 크리스마스 컬렉션

HeLLo everyone! I bought Innisfree Christmas Collection nail polishes a few months ago and now I have an excuse to try them out. I found only 4 pieces, not sure if there is more available but I can say I love them all so far! Very glittery and totally adorable bling-bling polishes.

For my nails I'm wearing MERRY CHRISTMAS nail polish. It's clear based polish with green, red and gold hexagone glitters to it. It took me 4 "coats" to get this opaque layer. Not quite right word of "coat" but I placed glitters where I needed for a few times and 2 layers was applied as usual.

This picture was took in shade but it still looks pretty :) It has a rough finish and thick layer of top coat can't help it. Also removing it is sooo hard. I removed it as I usually remove any glitter polishes click [HERE] to see and it still hard to clean off.

For my toes I used GREEN CHRISTMAS and WINTER SNOW nail polishes. For both polishes it took me 4 "coats" as well.

GREEN CHRISTMAS is clear based nail polish with green and gold hexagone glitters with rough finish.

WINTER SNOW is clear based nail polish with light blue and silver hexagone glitters with rough finish.

And instead of top coat I applied one thick layer of WHITE CHRISTMAS nail polish. Which is clear based polish with some clear/reflecting colors hexagone glitters. It's kindda hard to get the hexagone on the brush but it still looks adorable on top of any nail polish.

It's time for Day 24 of the nail challenge and Inspired by A BOOK nails. I was a little confused because my all time favourite book is "Memoirs of a geisha" and I honestly have tried to do a nail design inspired by that book but it came out not as I thought it will be.

But I remembered another wonderful book I just loved when I was a child, it's russian book called "12 months". Winter story, very good story with happy end of course :) So, the main idea of this book is the girl needed snowdrop flowers at winter time. And I decided to make that picture on the nails.

I made the SNOWDROPS on my sister's nails and she like them a lot :D Those are white dried flowers, of course not a real snowdrops but imitation. For the main background pattern was used a few shades of blue and white nail polishes with a piece of sponge.

Both hands on direct sunlight. Very snowy kindda effect but with flowers :) Exactly what I wanted :)

Thats it for my inspiration by a book. Next on the list is inspired by a fashion nail design, hmmm, will see ;)

Claire's MOOD "Excited/Bored"

I was really excited about those color changing nail polishes, cause it sounds quite unique for me LOL~ And I bought this one a few months ago and finally had a chance to try it out.

First of all it has very runny texture and I applied 3 coats to get this opaque looking layer. It dries to the matte finish, dries pretty fast. And I like this peachy/orange color. It suits my skin tone and looks adorable; LOL for praising myself ~

On the picture above this polish looks like as soon as applied to the nails.

And on the picture below I already have tried to create gradient effect and it's the best what I could make with it. May be I have hand growing from the wrong place but this nail polish didn't worked for me!! When I put my nails in warm water it looked lighter but just for a few seconds and then was the same color again.

Overall I'm very glad I bought only this one piece!

Since I liked the color I added orange striping tape on my nails to make it look more interesting.

And this striping tape lost the color after 30 mins. What a crappy mani day!!

Do U have any MOOD polishes? How do U like them? Is it works for U?

"SNOW WHITE" nails

I was checking my blog this morning and all that stuff and AGAIN I found that my Picasa album has removed quite a few dozens pictures of mine!!! WTF!!! I was told some time ago, that it can happens because some pictures repeat numbers of each other and it is automatically deleted. BUT, I looked at every single picture on that damn album and assign individual names and numbers and in spite of this I still loosing pictures! As much as I love blogging I hate BLOGSPOT.COM!!! They always trying to change the actual blog design and all that stuff but never think of fixing problems! I think I'm not asking a lot from them but whats going on?? Why I'm loosing my pictures??

I need ur help guys! How do U edit pictures on ur blog? Do U have such kindda problem? How do you fix this?

ANYWAYS!!! Let's go back to the nail challenge again, cause I really don't like when something started and not finished. So I'm now on Day 23 and it Inspired by A MOVIE theme. So I didn't thought about it for long time because I already had SNOW WHITE water decals and I wanted to play with them so much and actually I do like this Disney movie-anime.

My sister always laughs at me because I use yellow nail polish way too much/often. And I re-purchase this The Face Shop YL702 from Lovely Me:ex collection more often than for example top coat or something else LOL~ When I don't know what to use for my nails it always gonna be yellow kindda shade hahaha~

It's very simple design. I applied 2 coats of creme yellow nail polish, sponged blue on my nail tips. With detailed brush and red acrylic paint I added those "diamonds' and stuck water decals on. Simple as 1,2,3 LOL~

Thats it for MOVIE inspired theme :) Iwill finish this challenge anyways hahaha~

"ANGRY BIRDS"

I LOVE Angry Birds, don't ya? :) They are all very adorable! My whole family so into Angry Birds game apps now. There is quite a few versions for this game and we have them all LOL~ My fave one is RIO Angry Birds, almost done with those stages >_<

And my today's mani is totally inspired by Angry Birds. For the main images I used [N.NAIL water decals] which I've got from[ KKCENTERHK]. It's a bit expensive tho, $6.0 for this water decal sheet. It comes in individual packaging. And there is much more images than on usual water decals. Quality of them is very nice, it's not spread by contact with top coat polish at all! I've tried one-stroke flower technique again and really want to get a skill. For this mani I used my new acrylic kit which I got recently and really happy with :)

It's first day of the December and it's get closer and closer to everyone's favorite Christmas holiday :) Thinking about it I was so inspired by and decided to make something winter-ish on my nails too :)

Challenge Day 22: Inspired by A SONG

I thought about this theme for a long time now and didn't had any suitable idea for Inspired by A SONG day. But recently I watched some Michael Jackson music video on You Tube and found that I could take an inspiration from "They Don't Care About Us" song, cause I found that the drums or whatever they called looks very nice and colorful LOL~

I took a piece of sponge and applied yellow, green and red creme nail polishes at one time and applied it as one general pattern, made 2 coats with a sponge and added some musical note water decals on yellow part of the design. Sealed everything with clear top coat and done :) Simple but the color combination is so bright and totally visible from far away. I got a lot of compliments today from strangers :)

My nails finally getting longer and it made me so happy :) When I trimmed my nails I enjoyed it only one day and the next day I started growing them back LOL~ And now I can see a result!

Today I went out to The Face Shop store to get their yellow nail polish cause I finished mine yesterday and I bought a few more polishes, my new babes for my lovely nail polish family :) All of them from Lovely Me:ex collection, yet all of them has a creme finish and amazing pay off!

New nail stuff of the November and my fresh pedicure :)

I changed my pedicure today. The other day I saw a picture where the dolphins swim in the water and I wanted to copy it for my toes cause the picture was super cute. And unfortunatelly I didn't saved the link and I can't found it right now... But the main idea was to make a gradient effect by using couple of blue nail polishes and piece of sponge. The dolphins is from my huge i.p. and I just contoured it with black nail art pen cause my Black s.p. is kindda weak pigmented which makes me sad! And the bubblies are baby blue and white acrylic paints.

And I think it's time to look on the result of purchases for the month. I can say that I was in a bad mood when I made all those purchases. Because I went out to buy some Vitamin E thing for my nails and it was sold out, then I went to get some cuticle oil and it was sold out too! I was in a really bad mood and in one day I bought all these stuff cause of that!

ARITAUM stuff. Got baby blue and light pink nail art pens with long brush which made me a lil' be happy. Bought a replacement for my cuticle and nail balm by The Face Shop. This time I got Shea Butter cuticle and nail balm, some cuticle softener which I like to use when I do my pedicure and cuticle oil. Also grabbed 2 nail polishes which are royal blue and christmas inspired glitters.

I got another cuticle essence by The Face Shop, was in a mood to get more and more stuff for nail and cuticle care. So bought VoV For healthy nails... and blue roses nail stickers.

Nail care For healthy nails by VoV is clear based nail polish kindda thing but it has a matte finish.

More ARITAUM nail polishes and Nail Hardener.

It's yellow-ish colored clear consistency nail treatment with calcium which I do like a lot!

And there was last box of Beach Collection so I bought it. It including 5 different summer-ish nail polishes. 4 of them are pastel tone creme finish nail polishes and only one is clear based blue glitters nail color.

More nail polishes which the colors inspired by winter and christmas time. I also bought the PRORANCE Blue gradation set which I used for my today's pedicure. Also I lost picture for loads of my new nail stickers and tatoos, but thats ok, I'll be use them very soon!

Challenge Day 21: Inspired by A COLOR

I found that I don't have anything similar to the Knight's Armor from Nubar (Nubar Fortress Collection Spring 2010) and I always wanted that kind of nail polish. It looks to me like a plain black base nail color with silver glitters to it. And I decided to pick up suitable polishes from my collection The Face Shop Face & it nail polish in BK901 and VOV nail polish in Silver Shoes. And to make it looks more like a nail art I simply added some Nature Republic rhinestones on top.

I got few questions about my nails:

How do U function with long nails? Right now my nails are short, coz I took them down probably last month. I used to wear much longer nails than I have right now. And I do pretty good with them. Just be carefull, simply be girly, don't attempt to be like a man and do all the rough just remeber U are a woman and everything U do have to be delicate! And U'll never get broken nails, at least it works for me!

Why did U cut ur nails? My nails was quite long and they started curling which looks ugly. I personally hate curling nails (doesn't matter whose nails they are), I like everything ideally perfect! From beauty to ugliness only one step, let's not do that step! It's just nails, they'll grow up again!

Challenge Day 20: WATER MARBLED nails.

Day 20 for WATER MARBLED nails. And the main idea was to create blue sorta "gust of wind" pattern. I used 3 different blue colors light blue, mid. blue and darker blue for those 3 shades. I also have tried to stamp some snowflakes on with a white s.p. I like the final result but I wish the white s.p. shows up more brighter.

It turned out that snowflakes kindda is the part of water marbling :)

This time I used vaseline instead of wrapping with a scotch tape :)

GALAXIES NAILS

It's time for GALAXIES nails for day 19. I love them a lot :D It's slightly different from what I'm doing usually nail design but I still love it!

I found this picture through Google search and took the inspiration from :) I also have tried to take a picture of products I used but because I used a lot of nail polishes it looked like I was gonna share my whole nail polish collection LOL~

Just a sponge technique. The secret is U need to take a very tiny piece of sponge, so it's easier to use for small details. For the nail polishes I used: shimmer white, shimmer silver, holo pink, pastel yellow, deep blue. For the main background color I used The Face Shop Face & it in BK901, it's a black nail polish with lots of different holo shimmers to it.

Challenge Day 18: HALF MOONS nails.

My sister poses again for Day 18 and HALF MOONS. It's probably quite noticeable when I share my sister's nails it something fast and simple just because she has very tiny nails and it's hard to do anything right now and also her nails are so weak and flaky. She is a hairdresser and coz of all those chemicals for perm the nails got crumble :( But she using a lot of nice nail care stuff, so it'll help I guess!

Didn't had any particular idea for the HALF MOONS and just found this Chanel picture on google :) I love that orange color but don't have the exact same nail polish so I layerd to different and got it :)

MATERIAL USED:

To start the half moon shape on the cuticle area I used small detailed brush.

To get that amazing orange color as it on the picture I applied one coat of creme yellow and on top of that applied creme orange but it has to be quite sheer so yellow undertone can be seen through.

Edit later: There is no product used picture because Blogspot deleted my pictures!!

Challenge Day 17: GLITTER nails.

It's GLITTERs day today. I was very excited about this theme but the final result turned out not such as it was conceived. I've tried to make a glittery gradient background with bigger turquoise glitters on top. And actually I like it but the color combination >_< Anyways, meet my GLITTER nails :)

Edit later: Something wrong going on with Blogspot and Picasa album and I lost some pictures from this update! Sorry!

MATERIAL USED:

To put the glitters on I used old fluffy make-up brush.

I LOVE Sparkle Aqua nail polish from PERIPERA!!!

Full mani on my both hands... Looks a bit heavy but glittery LOL~

For the main nail color I used one from Tony Moly. "APPLE YELLOW" YL702 2 layers on. Looks more yellow on the nails than in the bottle. Shimmery finish, dries in normal time. A bit sheer, I'd go for 3 coats next time.

Don't have enough time for changing my mani but I have some old pitures to share with :) It's inspired by Thanksgiving day :) Korean Thanksgiving was in September and I already did Asian style manicure for that day click [HERE] to see it. But I also wanted to make one for Europeans as well, something without pumpkins and turkeys LOL~. This is pre-made design but for ur Thanksgiving :)

Mainly I used acrylic paints for this design and the white flowers are the stickers.

Challenge Day 16: TRIBAL PRINT nails.

Happy Sunday everyone! This was pre-made mani. I did this TRIBAL PRINT nails the other day and the day light was very weak, so please excuse my bad focused pictures >_<

For the Day 16 I really didn't had any ideas because I think square-looking nail design is not my style at all. But the rescue idea was to add a stamp design on top. Right now I'm still wearing those nails coz they are kindda cute LOL~, sorta abstract design :)

Material used:

It was very simple to do. First I applied 2 coats of FRESH LIME, then I added RESORT CORAL strip in the middle of nail plate, added EARL GREY TEA on both sides of the orange color. Made a zig-zag line with BLUE nail art pen. Applied clear top coat, stamped black images and finaly added another top coat. Done!

NAIL CARE: Beautiful Cuticles!!!

HeLLo everyone! Zarina Villanueva asked about my cuticle care and requested for how-to get beautiful and neat cuticle. And this was the most hard request to me because I honestly do nothing with my cuticles. I just don't have them and all I need is moisturize them well...

But I want to stress DO NOT CUT or even bite never ever ur cuticles!! It may couse infection and simply create uncomfortable sensations at next stage of manicure. When cuticles damaged it may affect on slow growth of nails, as well as weak nails. If U have extra cuticle skin just use a cuticle remover and gently get rid of unwanted extra cuticle skin. For my cuticles personally I only need some kind of moisturizers just to soften them and help my nails grow a bit faster.

The Face Shop RICH HAND Almond Organic Marula Oil cuticle & nail balm. This is my favourite cuticle and nail balm. It looks and feels almost like a vaseline and works just great for my cuticles! I use it every single night before I go to the bed. And in the morning my nails looks very moisturized and neat.

The Face Shop Face & It collection Moisture Essence. This is creamy texture product to soften the cuticles, very light consistency and absorbs immediately to the cuticles. I like use it during the day time and when I change my pedicure. Works very well for softening cuticle area.

ARITAUM Nail Therapy Care cuticle oil. This is just a basic cuticle oil which I bought a few days ago. Smells very good, deep moistirizing. Sometimes when I want something lighter than cuticle balm I like using this oil.

ARITAUM Shea Butter cuticle & nail balm. Because my TFS RICH HAND cuticle and nail balm used to the bottom and it's need a replacement I bought this one. The same texture, the same deep moisturizer but smells better :)

Other than that I apply hand cream every now and then, try not allow the skin to be dry. 1-2 times a week I like to do a hand mask, keep it overnight or at least 30 mins. Just treat ur hands and cuticles daily and U will reach gorgeous-looking hands!

Challenge Day 15: DELICATE PRINT nails.

It's a DELICATE PRINT day today and I asked to my sister to be my hand model again :) Coz I'm still wearing one-stroke flowers from my previous update and yet my eyes are still enjoying the design :) Anyways, for the delicate nails I used ARITAUM nail polish in AQUA NAVY (which is my new nail polish I bought a few days ago). 2 coats on, deep blue with a micro glitters to it. Amazing color! And some silver water decals for the main design. My actual idea was to create delicate but with a little touch of drama print, because everyone make such weak pastel tone color combinations for this theme and I want to be different LOL~

Both hands, full mani on direct morning sunlight :)

And just random nail picture for Etude House LUCIDarling nail polish in Music Box Mint 03. 2 layers on without top coat. Dries fast. The application is nice and smooth. Quite opaque texture.

For the Day 14 and FLOWER nails I had 1001 idea in my head but I decided to try out one-stroke acrylic technique. It's my very first try for flower one-stroke design and actually I'm pretty happy with the final result. And the most important thing I've learned so far is to keep ur flat nail art brush damp. It's really helps to blend paints with each other very well!

Just 3 orange and white flower petals on gold glittery background color.

Challenge Day 13: ANIMAL PRINT nails.

For the Day 13 and ANIMAL PRINT nails I asked to my sister to be a hand model and she agreed with me :) For her mani I made a gradient background effect by using 3 colors: yellow, bright pink and purple nail polishes. To make the sponge effect more smooth kindda and blended I applied one layer of shimmer 2000 top coat. For the zebra stripes I used my Aritaum striping black nail art polish.

Was in a hurry because she just back home from the work and asleep on the move lol~ So, it was like a 15 min. mani with "imperfect" looking zebra stripes :P Anyways, she also agreed to do a delicate print on her nails :)

For the Day 12 and STRIPES nails I found this picture on my old nail folder which has some stripes :) I made this nail design a long time ago, seems like I tested some new Golden Rose striping polishes.

And because I needed to change my pedicure I decided to make a design matching to the theme :) I used striping tape in golden and black colors + rhinestones on natural beige main background color. The striping tape was black and gold right before I applied top coat :( But anyways, I like my fresh pedi :)

What a nice weekend I spent with my family!!! We visited one of the amazing parks which is 30 minutes away from our home in Yongdon "Bugok Hawaii". It is an aqua 'n spa land actually but there is a lot of great places in there as well. The spirit of "get thinking about everything" the best part. We are got a bit of lectures and guide trip there...

We heard very nice and instructive legends about everything! It was great!

And after that we went to see on presentation of young acrobats who came on a tour from China. It was very inspiring too!

Challenge Day 11: POLKA DOTS nails

HeLLo lovelies! It's POLKA DOTS today for Day 11 of nail challenge. And I already finished the first decade and this upcoming 10 days are gonna be inspired by patterns.

For this mani I used just a few things. To start of I applied KISS Ultra Growth stimulator as a base. Applied one coat of Etude House "LIGHT NAILS SOFT NAIL COLOR" and with a sponge applied side french tips using Peripera "SECRET ORANGE". Added white lace nail stickers, big white dots and clear rhinestones. Sealed everyting with shimmer top coat and done!

Another day off of the nail challenge coz I've got some other products from Born Pretty store to share with :)

I bought 3 gel eye liners from The Face Shop (black, brown and purple) may be last year because I was so sooo exciting to try out this type of eye liners. And I was very upset because it was absolutely not usable, very dry and thick consistency, completely dried almost after a month of use :( And recently when I received an offer by Jayce to review their products I asked for this gel eyeliners kit. Because my desire to enjoy such eye liners remains in force LOL~

Anastacia's Thoughts: Both of this eye liners came in a see through plastic package in the lid of which is individually small brush which is very useful. Actually I use only those brushes to line my eyes. I found the size of the brushes is very suitable for all types and shapes of eye liners from thick dramatic to very thin a-la natural. The actual product is so nice and opaque. I also made the swatches above for both brown and black liners. The texture is very soft and smooth and the application is very nice, absolutely easy to use product. I'm wearing both of them quite often now and can't stress enough how great those eye liners are! I've tested both of them for long lasting and it stays on for 6-8 hours on me (I usually don't wear any make-up longer than 8 hours). I didn't noticed any fall outs, no missing pieces to the end of the day on my gel eye liners and it's not hard to remove. Just any make-up remover will works great. With this gel eye liners I can save much time in comparison of use regular liquid eye liners. It still as precise as liquid liners and much-much easier to apply.

I did 2 different looks using both colors. This type of products has a property of blending. In my second look I smudged a bit black liner and it complements very nicely any smokey eyes :) Sorry for not clear picture, it was very cloudy out there...

Overall: I'm very happy to have this gel eye liners! I don't have any cons for this products!

Day 10: GRADIENT nails.

HeLLo everyone! Another mani for the challenge and today for Day 10 and GRADIENT nails I decided to use ALOHA nail polish kit from Etude House called Cocktail Syrup Nails Kit Sunshine Bronze. It includes 3 different nail polishes which are designed to produce gradient effect for the nails.

LIGHT NAILS SOFT NAIL COLOR #1 (BASE)

SPARKLING BRONZE PEARL COAT #2 (MIDDLE)

BLING BLING BRONZE PEARL COAT #3 (TIP)

For this gradient nails I used the actual nail polish brush to apply them on my nails. I started with natural beige color, which I love and using it recently a lot. Following by it I applied middle nail color started from nail tip to the middle of the nails. This helps to create more gradient effect without any precise lines. And finished with the darkest brown again started from the nail tips to the side of the nail cuticle. Sealed everything with a shimmer top coat and done :)

In my old nail folder I found this picture which is gradient nails as well but only made with a sponge technique.

Day 9: RAINBOW nails.

I almost forgot to update my blog LOL~ Just got home, me and my sister spent a lot of time on shopping today >_< And the most funny part is she only bought a pair of jeans and me nothing ahahaha~ I was hoping to found something unique but it didn't happened :)

Anyways, for Day 9 and RAINBOW nails I pre-made this colorful design using a ton of different things such as acrylic paint, nail polishes and sponge technique. Didn't had a chance to picture all products I've used coz lately it's totally deficiency of day light. Raining and showering every day, but I like it :))

I started of with a creme white nail polish and made a pastel tone (yellow, pink, green) main background pattern, sealed it with a glittery nail polish and drawn the rainbow in random directions. This nail design takes some time to create but the final result is very bright and colorful.

RAINBOW on both hands :)

Challenge Day 8: METALLIC nails.

HeLLo everyone! It's sunny Monday morning and I just back home. I visited a few beauty stores near my home just to buy any cuticle oil and all of them are run out of their oil supplies! What a stupid rarity LOL~ But I bought some pretty nail polishes 'n stuff which I can't wait to use :)

For the Day 8 and METALLIC nails I'm wearing Beauty UK Glam Nails nail polish in "GUN METAL". It's 2 layers on, without top coat. I love this nail polish so much! ThanQ Ash-Lilly for such amazing nail polish! This color looks so nice on my hands esp with my warm skin undertone. The application is very nice and smooth. Dries quite fast, totally what I need :)

To bump it up I decided to layer it with one coat of Kleancolor nail polish in "GRAND FINALE". Which is long type silver glitters. They have all colors of the rainbow and looks so pretty in different angles! Definitely buildable nail polish and in 2 coats it will looks more opaque.

And here is another metallic finish nail polish which is from my mom's collection. I used it when was visited my home-town and completely can't remeber the name of this polish. And I layered it with Loreal Crystal sparkling Magic Color nail polish.

Challenge Day 7: BLACK AND WHITE nails

Hello everyone! It's Sunday morning and it's raining since last night... Stick at home as usual. And while I'm waiting for black bean noodles order here is Day 7 and BLACK AND WHITE nails. I decided to do a nail design using only those two colors. I used both The Face Shop nail polishes from Lovely Me:ex collection WH002 (white polish) and BK901 (black polish). Both of them has a creme shiny finish, very opaque texture, works great for stamping nail art too. Also I decided to put matte finish top coat coz lately I'm into matte colors a lot, don't know why but it looks special for me ATM LOL~

I applied one solid color on the whole nail plate, than made a sided french tip with another polish and with a striper brush made those sorta "lines" + some dots and black rhinetone on my ring finger.

Thats all for BLACK AND WHITE nails :)

Challenge Day 6: VIOLET nails.

Hello everyone and thanQ for all the best wishes to my baby. This morning he felt much better, he has no fever anymore but still looks kindda very tired. Anyways, for the Day 6 of the nail mani challenge I'm gonna share my violet nails. Meet...

GOSH "Gasoline" nail polish. I'm wearing 2 coats on on this picture. No top coat. A bit sheer texture, I think 3 layers will looks much better. But I do like this nail color!

I was bored of wearing this color and decided to matte-ified it with The Face Shop Matte Top Coat. I also have noticed that this matte top coat has to be applied on very-very thick coat otherwise it will looks streaky as it looks right now. Or may be there is another option - to apply 2 coats of TFS matte top coat.

I found this purple french nail design in my old mani folder. I don't remeber exactly what products I've use but for the nail tips I used The Face Shop nail polish in PP 404 from Face & it collection + some flower nail stickers to hide un-even french nail tips line.

Thats it for my VIOLET nails. Tomorrow I'll be share with a nail design, finally LOL~

Challenge Day 5: BLUE nails.

HeLLo everyone! Today I don't have enough time for blogging coz my baby has a strong, very strong fever, his permanent teeth started growing up recently. And during his sleep here is my BLUE nails for Day 5.

Nails INC. in "DENIM" nail polish. 2 coats on without top coat, amazing and such opaque creme texture polish. I simply love everything about this polish.

I also applied one layer of Innisfree #73 nail polish in "WINTER SNOW" on top. Coz I just like something glittery on top of creme polish. It's another Christmas collection nail polish and I like those chunky glitters, looks so beautiful!

Also I quickly took a picture of my oval shaped bare nails. I recently used a lemon juice for whitening my yellow nails and so far I like the result! Very impressive, they are not as much yellow as it was before :)

Challenge Day 4: GREEN Nails.

For GREEN nails I've tried one of my never used yet nail polishes which is Milani 3D Holographic "HI-TECH" nail polish. It's 2 layers on, but next time I'll go for 3 layers. Without top coat. Looks beautiful in any different angles and lightings.

Another salad - green sorta nail polish is from Beauty UK Glam Nails in "SOFT GREEN".2 layers on without top coat. Creme shiny finish.

I always like to layer any glitter coat on creme finish nail polishes just because most of the times as such nail polishes has very un-even and streaky application and looks much better with glitters on top. Innisfree "GREEN CHRISTMAS" #72 nail polish. One coat of green and gold hexagone glitters. It's clear based nail polish from Innisfree Christmas collection. Definitely buildable glittery nail polish.

I'm so into new TV show series recently, I finished watching TRUE BLOOD last week and I want to say that I hate the finale episode of it may be I just was waiting for something completely another. Also I really wanted to see "old" Eric. I mean when he remember everything and again be sarcastic and evil coz I like his character so much but seems like he become the same a***hole as their new *king* Bill LOL~ Anyways, right now I'm watching DEXTER, coz quite a lot of Facebook friends was told about this series and I actually like it so far! It's about the serial killer who works at the police station... And if I don't replay regularly to all ur messages and comments please forgive me, I'm watching DEXTER lol~

For the Day3 of the nail mani challenge I decided to use PRORANCE in "SUMMER YELLOW" #01 nail polish. Coz I bought it quite a long time ago and never used it. I applied 2 layers on, without top coat. It's a bit sheer, seems like need 3 coats.

And I also layered it with one coat of PRORANCE in "LEMON CUBIC" #611. It's yellow jelly nail polish with a lot of different yellow glitters to it. So beautiful color, I like it a lot!

And I also found some of my old manis. This one is "Ink Splatters". I pre-made those splatters on zip-lock bag and after they completely dry I placed them on yellow nail polish which is by The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex collection in YL702.

This is The Face Shop nail stickers which looks so damn cute in the package and totally don't want to stick on the nails! The main yellow background color is the OK nail polish which I actually thrown out LOL~

There is just a few pictures left in my old nail folder, can't wait to use them all so I can share my newest nail designs :)

31 Day Challenge: Day 2 ORANGE nails

For day 2 and orange nails I decided to use this nail polish which I have for a long time already but don't use it as often.

The Face Shop nail polish from their Nail Talk collection in OR205. 3 layers on without top coat. The texture is quite runny so it's not very opaque. It's also very streaky even in 3 coats tho but this one works nicely for sponge technique 'n such. Dries in shiny creme finish.

I also made this nail design for a friend of my sister and I used orange nail polish for this design as well ECLIPSE nail polish in BIKINI ORANGE. Gradient colors effect by using yellow orange and red nail polishes. Inspired by Safari and the butterflies is just random details LOL~

I found this picture in my photos folder I made those nail designs a long time ago.

31 Day Challenge: Day1 RED nails (MISSHA, Catherine Arley, Golden Rose)

It was very busy Monday today, whole day I went from one office to another, just such a long day; glad it ends. Many important things was settled and I'm very pleased actually:) Just got home after hearty lunch with my hubby, ready to run to do household chores and take care of my kids LOL~ But before I'm gonna update my blog, coz t's very exciting about daily nail challenge :)

Starting from today I decided to run on the 31 Day Nail Challenge which a lot of other nail bloggers has started but here is mine LOL~ The first day on the challenge states that it should be red nails and I really thought about making a creative nail design for each day and each color but it also says that the first decade shoud be just a color, so instead of that I will share some matching colors from my nail polish collection :)

MISSHA Lucid Nail Polish in RD04. I'm wearing 2 layers on, without top coat. It's such an amazing red color, it has a lot of glitters to it and looks so luxury to me. I love this polish a lot, it recently became on my go-to red nail polish. Very opaque texture, applies and looks awesome even in one coat.

I also like to apply a layer of Catherine Arley #724 on top of Missha color. Coz it adds some more red mico glitters and shiny finish and I just like this red combination a lot. It hard to see all the beautiful glitters on this picture but it looks so pretty and always remind me of red shoes of "Wizard of Oz". This nail color by itself is clear based polish with a ton of micro red glitters to it.

Golden Rose #18. 2 layers on without top coat. Nice red color, reminds me of a ripe tomato. Creme finish. Nothing special about this nail polish but I just wated to try it out, never had a chance to see it on my nails.

I had a chance to get some "foreign" brand of nail polishes and I bought this one which made in Poland I guess (if I'm wrong, LMK I'll correct it). Everyone likes holo so do I. And because of that I immidately grabed this silver color. It looks pretty in the bottle but nothing like on the nails, weird! But despite all this it still looks as nice silver/foil with a tiny bit of something to it nail polish.

EVELIN Nail Polish in SILVER HOLOGRAM. 2 coats on it looks better in 3 layers tho. Very sheer texture. Smooth application. Dries very slow and it dries to the sticky finish, coz it's can't completely dry by itself I guess, fast dry top coat is very much recommended for this particular situation. Not very much bling-bling effect as it usual seems in holo polishes.

This picture was took in the shade. And it looks like a crumbled kitchen foil to me which is not bad at all. Sometimes I like wear such nail polishes by itself, good opportunity when U have no time for "creative" manicure.

And the next week I'm gonna start doing this nail challange. I know a lot of nail bloggers has already doing it but I didn't had a chance to start it before so I'm doing it now. If U like make it too, lets do it together :) LMK~
